Privacy policy

Gooood Morning is made by Yaroslav Shevchenko ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and almost everything stays on your phone.

Stored only on your phone

Your alarms, settings, chosen skin, wake-up history and registered codes stay on your device. They are never sent to us. A registered barcode, QR code or NFC sticker is kept as a fingerprint, a one-way hash of its contents, not the contents themselves.

Camera, motion and NFC

The camera scans your code, the motion sensor counts steps and NFC reads your sticker's ID. All of this is processed on the device while a mission runs. No images, sensor data or tag data leave your phone.

Weather and approximate location

If you turn on weather, the app reads your approximate location and rounds it to about 1 km (two decimal places). It sends those rounded coordinates to our weather service at goooodmorning-api.heldiglab.com, hosted on Cloudflare. That service asks the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) for the forecast. We do not store your location or link it to you. Forecasts are cached by rounded coordinates only. You can turn location off at any time in your phone's settings. The rest of the app works without it.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check what you have purchased. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and basic device information such as the OS version. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What we don't do

We don't show ads, use analytics or tracking SDKs, sell data, or combine data with other apps or websites. The app does not track you as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Deleting the app deletes everything stored on your device. For anything related to purchases, contact us and we will help you exercise your rights under GDPR, the UK GDPR or CCPA.
